1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Honeyman Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

Honeyman Productions offers professional audio services including but not limited to music production, mixing, mastering, recording, sound design, and commercial audio production. The specific scope of work for each project will be agreed upon in writing before commencement.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure studio time and begin production work. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project.

3.2 Payment Methods

Payment is accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, or other methods agreed in advance. All prices are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Late Payment

Final files and masters will not be released until full payment has been received. Invoices overdue by more than 30 days may incur a late payment fee of 5% per month.

4. Project Scope & Revisions

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as agreed in the project brief. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges at our standard hourly rate.

Changes to the scope of work after project commencement may result in revised timelines and pricing, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Client Material

The Client retains all intellectual property rights to original material they provide (lyrics, melodies, recordings). The Client warrants that they have the right to use any material provided to us.

5.2 Production Work

Upon full payment, intellectual property rights for production work, beats, and arrangements created by Honeyman Productions transfer to the Client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.3 Portfolio Usage

Honeyman Productions reserves the right to use excerpts of completed work for portfolio, promotional, and educational purposes, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.

6. Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 7 days before a scheduled session will receive a credit note for future use. Cancellations within 7 days of a session will forfeit the deposit. No-shows will be charged the full session fee.

7. Studio Conduct

Clients and guests are expected to treat the studio, its equipment, and staff with respect. Honeyman Productions reserves the right to terminate a session without refund if conduct is deemed inappropriate or if equipment is being misused.

8. Limitation of Liability

Honeyman Productions will exercise reasonable care in the provision of all services. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific project in question.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all client projects as confidential. NDAs are available upon request for sensitive projects. We will not share project details, unreleased material, or client information with third parties without express consent.

10. Force Majeure

Honeyman Productions shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to equipment failure, power outages, natural disasters, or pandemic-related restrictions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
